Wealdstone head into tonight's Ryman Premier League clash with Canvey Island full of confidence after Saturday's encouraging 1-1 draw with Carshalton Athletic.

The Stones looked to attack at every opportunity last Saturday and should have bagged all three points had Ben Alexander been more composed in front of goal.

However, boss Gordon Bartlett is likely to stick with most of the starting line-up from the weekend for the visit of Canvey Island to Grosvenor Vale (7.45pm kickoff).

"There is no need to make many changes after the way they played on Saturday," said the manager. "You can always press the panic button but I'm quite happy with the group of players that are going out onto the pitch."
