ANGRY Brentford boss Andy Scott has warned former Bees manager Martin Allen 'hands off my job'.

Allen was linked with the position in a national newspaper article last week, which described Scott as ‘under pressure’.

The piece was followed by two post-match press conferences in which Scott blasted the ‘negativity’ surrounding the club, once his players had answered the critics with two away wins in four days.

Scott said: " Martin Allen has been a bit naughty. He’s been on my shoulder for the past three years, but he walked out on Brentford before failing at MK Dons and Cheltenham.

"If he’s putting his name into the hat, he shouldn’t think he can walk into a League One job after not doing nearly so well at a League Two club.

"My job is not available. With our recent record, it should be the other way round, with my name being linked to other jobs.

"I must be the only manager of the month who the next minute is being described as ‘relegation-haunted’. I am under pressure to deliver results, but that’s it."
