ANDY Scott has refused to rule himself out of the running for the vacant manager's job at Watford.
Rumours surfaced this week that the Brentford FC boss was on a five-man shortlist for the post at Vicarage Road, along with Alan Pardew, Malky Mackay, Derek McInnes and Nigel Gibbs.
However, speculation Scott, who is only a year into a five-year contract in west London, is set for an interview this week are wide of the mark.
The 36-year-old is on holiday in America, but wouldn't rule out the possibility of a move to the Championship club.
He said: "I'm aware Watford have shown an interest, but I'm not going to speculate until I'm told otherwise.
"I'm young and ambitious and want to manage at Championship and Premier League level.
"But I'm contracted to Brentford, and am busy looking at what players I'm bringing in for next season."
