ANDY Scott paid tribute to Sam Saunders after his first goal for the club earned Brentford a draw against Yeovil on Saturday.

The former Dagenham wideboy curled home a second-half free-kick to cancel out Gavin Tomlin's early opener and extend the Bees' unbeaten run to 11 games.

"He scored his first goal, which we are delighted with," said Brentford boss Scott.

"He has waited his time and has found it difficult to settle in and play the way we want to play.

"But he has got ability and that is why we signed him.

"It was a good free kick and hopefully there are a couple more in there."
