ROWAN Vine has vowed to fill the void left by crocked Brentford star Myles Weston .
Former Notts County flyer Weston has been ruled out for three weeks after suffering a hamstring problem in last week's win at Colchester.
Bees boss Andy Scott swooped to bring QPR striker Vine, who had a spell at Griffin Park earlier in his career, on loan before Thursday's transfer window slammed shut.
And the 28-year-old insists he can do a job on the left wing in Weston's absence.
He said: "I've never been a battering ram type of centre-forward.
"I'm right-footed but have played on the left-wing a lot throughout my career.
"After leaving Brentford the first time I was used there by Colchester. The more I played there the more I grew into the role."
