UWE Rosler blasted Brentford's dismal first-half display as they slumped to defeat at Leyton Orient.

Goals from Kevin Lisbie and Jimmy Smith earned the Os bragging rights and consigned the Bees to their second successive defeat.

And boss Rosler was livid with his team's lacklustre performance at Brisbane Road.

He said: “We wanted to start the game on the front foot but the tempo was too low.

“We showed no desire, not enough pressing, no willingness to run in behind or to chase people.

“This is the first time I've seen it since I've been at Brentford. Everyone was fresh and I can't understand why they didn't show more hunger.

“We lost the game in the first half.”

Niall McGinn and Saido Berahino were hauled off at the break after missing gilt-edge chances for the visitors.

And Rosler admits they were made to pay for not being clinical in front of goal.

He added: “We had four big chances in the first-half but we didn't take them.”
