UWE Rosler branded Sam Saunders his very own David Beckham after the Brentford midfielder's delicious double shot down Leyton Orient.

Saunders struck two brilliant second half free-kicks to put Saturday's game beyond Orient, as well as setting up the Bees' second for Leon Legge with another set-piece.

And following the 5-0 victory, Bees boss Rosler compared Saunders' efforts to those of the former Manchester United and England ace.

He said: “Sam doesn't just look like Beckhan, he can hit a set piece like him too. He is a confidence player, and that will give him a huge boost.”

But while Saunders will take the headlines, Rosler reckoned his other wing wonder was his man of the match.

Celtic loanee Niall McGinn scored the opening goal after just five minutes, and was a thorn in Orient's side throughout the game.

Rosler added: “There were a lot of good performances out there for us today, but over the 90 minutes, Niall McGinn was our best player.”
