Tin-Tin Ho is on the shortlist for a top sports award – and Table Tennis England wants west Londoners to vote for one of their own so she can win it.

The 16-year-old from Bayswater is one of three rising stars to be in the running for the Young Sports Person of the Year accolade at the British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards.

She is up against karting star Enaam Ahmed and athlete Morgan Lake for the award, with a public vote crucial to the outcome.

The prodigious talent is top English cadet and despite the demands of school has played 126 matches in the past year, more than anyone else in women's world table tennis. She won mixed doubles silver at last year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
