READING have made an official approach for Brentford defender Karleigh Osborne .
We exclusively revealed earlier this month that the Championship club were chasing the centre-back, with Royals boss Brian McDermott confirming his interest today.
Reading have opened talks with the Bees about a deal for the 23-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
But manager Uwe Rosler insists the agreement must be right for the club.
He said: “They have made us aware of their interest and we'll have to see how it develops.
“We will do what is right for Brentford Football Club.”
