ACTON Ealing Whistlers U9s secured a point against St Joseph B thanks to a last-minute Cyril Preudhomme equaliser in a 10-goal thriller.

That was Preudhomme's second goal of the match. Tyrese Vassel was also on target twice while a predatory finish from Louis Miles also helped secure the 5-5 draw.

The outstanding player on the pitch was the St Joseph's goalkeeper who made many more quality saves. The Whistlers remain unbeaten this season.

Whistlers' U9 Bs won 4-3 at Harrow St Mary's C. During a commanding individual performance, skipper Oscar Collins hit the crossbar and contributed two assists, including a 20-yard cross to set up the winning goal from James Sookias.

The U14 As were 6-1 winners over Westway Youth in the County Cup. Alperen Oktay crossed from deep for Marsell Bascombe to head home the opener from close range. Bascombe netted a second and Josue Ngandu added two more. Man of the Match Saleh Zaheer dominated the midfield and scored two fine goals.

Finally, there was a first win of the season for the U18 Bs, who beat Pitshanger 3-1. Two goals in the first half from Louie Kennedy saw Whistlers go into the break 2-0 up. Pitshanger pulled one back with 15 minutes to go but Kennedy wrapped up the win from the penalty spot in the 85th minute - completing his hat-trick in the process. Joe Boyland had an inspirational game in goal.
