RONNIE Moore's number could be up after he watched accountant Charlie Mpi force himself into contention for Sunday's FA Cup first round clash with a powerful display in the 2-1 FA Trophy win over Harrow Borough last night (Tuesday).

He won penalties in either half of the second qualifying round replay, both converted by Ryan Ashe and Greg Ngoyi, and is almost certain to face the Millers at the expense of Ngoyi, who starts a three match ban for his sending off at Aylesbury.

Rotherham boss Moore was at Grosvenor Vale to run the rule over the Ryman Premier League side and will have been particularly impressed by Mpi's contribution.

"The performance wasn't great but we got the result we wanted in the end", said Mpi, 22, a qualified accountant. "It was inevitable we had one eye on Sunday's game and now we can start to enjoy the build-up to it."
