TOUMANI Diagouraga is in contention for a return to the Brentford first-team squad for Saturday's trip to Oldham.

The French midfielder stepped up his recovery from a knee injury with 90 minutes for the development squad in Tuesday's win at Spurs.

And boss Uwe Rosler revealed he may give Diagouraga his first taste of competitive action at Boundary Park.

He said: “Toumani has had no problem with his knee and is looking strong.

“He's been training with us for three weeks, his fitness is good and he's pout himself in contention.”
