AN IMPRESSIVE 175 personal best times were achieved by Hillingdon Borough Elite Swim Team members as they got 2009 off to a flying start in Cambridge.
Sophie Wilson, Karley Mann and Francesca Marr, who each set short course National Qualifying Times (NQT) in various events, were the pick of the bunch although Mann produced arguably the stand out performance.

Fiona McAndrew and Kate Wilson both took a leap forward on all their strokes, McAndrew in particular, swam an excellent 2.55.61 in the 200m breaststroke.
In the Elite Junior Squad, Lorraine Bouch enjoyed tremendous swims in the 200m breaststroke and 400m IM, Paige Mann achieved some promising times and displayed real quality on the 200m free, while George Prunty, Harry Jackson, Leighton Jones, Louis South, Leon Berchie and Jamie Woodman all recorded personal bests.
