BRENTFORD face a fight to land Toumani Diagouraga after two other League One clubs entered the race for the Peterborough United midfielder.

The 23-year-old's switch to Griffin Park , where made 20 appearances on loan last season, has stalled after the Bees refused to meet Posh's asking price.

Diagouraga had cleared the decks for a move to TW8, but revealed the Bees now face competition for his signature should the two parties manage to iron out a deal.

"I've heard a couple of other clubs are interested but nothing concrete," he said. "But Brentford would have a head-start on them though as I really enjoyed my time there."
