KENTON B secured the Wembley & Harrow Table Tennis Summer League this week.

The Kenton players comfortably saw off Hillingdon 4-1 to lift the trophy with one round of matches still to play.

Strength in depth was a key reason for Kenton’s success, which was illustrated this week with Peter Pilides coming off the bench to make his first appearance and winning both of his singles and the doubles.

Kenton B have been strong throughout the campaign, only losing one match, to Lowlands B 2-3 on the fifth week.
Lowlands A leapfrogged IFSport to go third after picking up their eighth consecutive win, giving them the longest winning streak in this year’s competition.

Next week Lowlands A play Sudbury Hill to see who will be runners-up this year, with the latter favourites after an excellent 5-0 win over Juice. In this week’s other matches Lowlands B beat Eastcote A 3-2, Kenton A beat Vagabonds 4-1, and L.C.N.L beat Oshwal NW 5-0.
