ELECTRICIAN Jon Main hopes to spark AFC Wimbledon’s FA Cup run - and get one over on his pals while he’s at it.

The Dons make the short trip across the capital to take on 2004 finalists Millwall in the first round proper on Monday night.

And Main, who works part-time as a sparky, hopes he can light up the New Den against the League One side.

He said: "I help a mate out re-wiring kitchens, and usually work an eight-hour day, as well as playing football.

"It does get tough combining the two, especially if you have a long trip on a Tuesday night and have to get up early for work the next morning.

"I’ve scored five in five, so I’m confident I can continue that and get a cup run going."

AFC hotshot Main has already been flooded with ticket requests for the big night, with more than 20 mates making the trip to South Bermondsey.

But some of the contingent will be hoping their pal is on the LOSING side.

He explained: "Seven of them are Millwall fans, and we only live half an hour from the ground. My mate Dave Martin also plays for them. I texted him when the draw was made and told him I was going to rattle him.

"It would be good to get one over on them."
