MARTIN Jol praised Fulham's character after they came from 2-0 down to earn a point against Manchester City .
The Whites looked to be on their way to a heavy defeat at Craven Cottage after Sergio Aguero's double.
But a superb second-half rally saw Bobby Zamora and Danny Murphy claim an unlikely share of the spoils.
“It was unexpected to come back at the death,” admitted boss Jol afterwards.
“But we scored one and had the belief. It's a fantastic achievement to recover against them.
“We showed great spirit to comeback.”
Jol also praised Fulham's finishing in front of goal, adding: “We had four opportunities and scored two goals, which is good.”
