Nic Stagg was named as the Hounslow and District Wheelers’ senior best all rounder for 2014/15 at the 81st annual dinner and prize giving.

He broke the 270-mile barrier in only his second ever 12-hour event last summer and was also the club’s road race champion and club events champion and could break into the top 12 in Britain this year.

Rob Gilmour was the veterans’ best all rounder and track champion and he took the club record for a two-hour ride, breaking the 25-mile barrier.

He broke a number of veteran time trial association records for the 63-year-old age group achieving 25.612 miles in one hour, 30 miles in an hour and 10 minutes and 50km in under an hour and a quarter.

Stuart Slow won the Alban Trophy for the best long distance ride for cycling 442.78 miles in 24 hours as he finished eighth in his first attempt in this discipline.
