BRENTFORD will assess George Saville in the next 24 hours after the on-loan Chelsea midfielder limped out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win against AFC Wimbledon.

The youngster was substituted midway through the first-half with an ankle problem.

However, Bees assistant manager Alan Kernaghan is confident Saville will be ready in time for Saturday's trip to Bradford City.

He said: “George had a whack on the ankle and unfortunately couldn't continue. It was just a precaution.”
