Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles topped the pile of seven teams taking part in Eastcote Hockey Club's Annual Festival
The Turtles dominated over the two-day period as captain Nick Smith led his side to glory with Gabriel Emery being named as top goalscorer,and the winner of the Alan Barracliffe Cup from previous holder Fiona Bennett.
An action packed weekend started off with 140 participants made up of men, women and colts from across the club before the Turtles dominated proceedings.
Then, on Sunday, the Eastcote Colts were back in action as the under 10s trained at Kings College Road, while older age groups resume training on the September 14.
Spectators also took part in the Beat the Goalie competition with many of the club's youngsters fancying their chances.
A small charge was needed for the challenge and the club raised £100 towards the Mayor of Hillingdon's charity appeal, Michael Sobell Hospice.
Eastcote's men and ladies also took part in friendly matches on the weekend before their season kicks off.
The men's team hammered Ramgharia 15-0 with new coach Adam Mulholland pleased with what he saw.
Mulholland's team were four up at half time and were able to really press home the advantage in the second half.
Both Captain Alex Stobbart and David Cooper hit four, two from James Berger and one each from James O’Shea, Sam Forster, Ben Thorpe, Richard Ripper and Mark Defanis.
The ladies first team, meanwhile, suffered a 1-0 defeat to Witney. This was the first game under new coach Timur Asar, as Eastcote had plenty of possession but couldn’t score any goals.
Witney converted a penalty corner mid-way through the first half, as the Asar's team will have something to build towards with the league starting in two weeks.
