PHC missed the opportunity to finish the season with a flourish when they were held in the last game of the season at the Linford Christie Sports Centre on Saturday.
A win would have taken the side known as Polly up to fifth in the table, but their final sixth place - 36 points from 22 games (three for a win) - was a marked improvement on their flirt with relegation for the first three months of the season.
