Hillingdon wheelchair tennis stars Andy Lapthorne and Jordanne Whiley are both celebrating after winning Australian Open titles this week.

Ickenham’s Whiley and her Japanese partner Yui Kamiji won a stunning fifth Grand Slam in a row by beating Dutch second seeds Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot 4-6 6-4 7-5.

Eastcote ace Lapthorne, an avid Brentford supporter, picked up his fourth Quad Doubles title down under by teaming up with world number one David Wagner.

As top seeds, Lapthorne and Wagner defeated Australia's Dylan Alcott and South Africa's Lucas Sithole 6-0 3-6 6-2 to secure the crown.
