HILLINGDON teacher Emma Croker has been drafted into the England Womans rugby team for their next World Cup fixture against Kazakhstan.

The Richmond star is head PE teacher at Swakeleys School for Girls and has been  handed the number two jersey as part shake-up by Head Coach Gary Street.

Street has made 12 changes to the side that beat Ireland on Friday, and sees the match as an oppurtunity to rotate his 26 strong squad.

“We have been working hard over the last three years to reach our goal of being able to field a squad of 26 who are as strong from 1 to 26 and we have achieved this," he said.“Kazakhstan  are a hard working side with some very talented sevens players so we know it is vital to play to our potential ahead of this tough and busy week of rugby.”

England take on Kazakhstan on Tuesday August 24 at Surrey Sports Park, Guildford. Kick off is at 6:30pm.
