PAUL Hayes is in contention to return to the Brentford squad for tomorrow's play-off clash at Swindon Town.

The Bees striker is back at Griffin Park following a loan spell at Crawley Town, where he scored two goals in nine starts for the Red Devils.

And boss Uwe Rosler insists Hayes is pushing for a place ahead of two games in 48 hours against the Robins.

“The plan worked well for Paul, Crawley and us,” said the German manager.

“We have got him in a position where he is match-fit now because he played regular first-team football there.

“He is definitely an option for us, to start or for the bench.

“The four strikers who have been with us for the past two months also done very well.

“All five of them now are in position to push for a place.”
