Hayes and Yeading United moved a step closer to securing a play-off spot as a double from Blue Square Conference South player of the month for March Will Hendry took them to a 2-1 win over Bromley at Church Road on Saturday (4/3).
Hendry fired United ahead on 32 minutes and then added his second on 66 minutes after being set up by Ram Marwa.
Bromley were forced to play the last 10 minutes a player short having used all their substitutes and in the 89th minute Ryan Hall struck home a free kick for the visitors.
However, H&Y were not to be denied a ninth consecutive league win to consolidate theiir fourth spot in the table.
