HAYES & Yeading boss Garry Haylock is hoping to seal the capture of two experienced professionals tonight.

We revealed earlier today that the Church Road chief was set to sign up Tom Cadmore, Bradley Pritchard, Daniel Wishart, Nathan Webb and Charlie Wassmer after the friendly match against Beaconsfield SYCOB at The Warren.

But Haylock was keeping the names of the other pair close to his chest as their signings are subject to board approval over the money that the Blue Square Premier club can offer them.

One is a goalkeeper with over 300 Football League appearances under his belt that Haylock says he has been tracking since March and the other is also an experienced professional player.

“I have to see what terms I can offer them as I know what the players will sign for,” said Haylock. “It is very complicated as there is an in-season budget and an out of season budget so we have had to juggle things around a bit.

“The contracts are being drawn up and hopefully after the game, we will be dragging the boys to the boardroom to sign on the dotted line.”
