A Fulham golfer has won a spot in the prestigious Audi Quattro Cup UK final and is on course to keep the world trophy in west London.

Last year Mike Williams and Edward Greenhalgh from Kensington won the Audi World Final in Spain, and now Harry Bloomfield and his partner Robert Cramsie from Cambridge, are set to follow in their footsteps.

Bloomfield, 35, and Cramsie narrowly inched home in the regional final this week after carding a winning 38 points - just one ahead of second place.

The pair now take on the other UK finalists at Bovey Castle in Dartmouth National Park on September 2.

If they are successful there Bloomfield and Cramsie will make the same journey to Tenerife on October 17 as Williams and Greenhalgh did 12 months ago.

The Audi Quattro attracts 75,000 amateur golfers from more than 30 countries.
