PAUL Konchesky reckons Fulham's minimum target in Europe this season is to qualify for the knockout stages.

The Whites' first test was against CSKA Sofia, in Bulgaria, last night (Thursday) - when the left-back was hoping the squad had learned from the tiring trips of the qualifying stage of the Europa Cup.

He said: "The football's non-stop at the moment, and, yeah, after our last round in Russia - with the long journey and all that - you feel leggy, but we can't use that as an excuse.

"We've got to learn from that and if we can qualify out of the group stage, then who knows how far we can go?" Konchesky added: "It's going to be tough, but beating Everton on Sunday has given us confidence."

The full-back hit a peach of a drive to level the score during the weekend's 2-1 win, and reckons fans will now see him having a pop a bit more regularly.

He added: "I should shoot a bit more when I get near the box - maybe I'll learn from that and have a go a bit more often."
