You can now throw darts in west London until your arm drops off - thanks to new initiatives from the Hammersmith & District Darts Association.

Not only the traditional two division league of six players each on Thursday nights, but the HDDA this week launched a Wednesday league requiring just four players a side.

The treble for arrows aces also sees a singles round-robin league introduced for Sunday nights - and the association isn’t finished there.

Gaffer: Jason Clark

Itching to get players on the oché is former world top 40 ace Jason Clark, aka ‘The Cockney Jock’, recently installed as bar manager of the Chiswick Club Society, who wants a team of HDDA players good enough to compete in the London/Middlesex Super League as well as a ladies only competition to go hand-in-hand with cash prizes.

HDDA spokesman Rob Taylor added: ‘There is a lot of interest in the two new leagues: 22 players in the singles and 24 in the team, and this is a really exciting time for darts in west London and would love to present this good news to those in the area that may be interested in darts, but don't necessarily know about the HDDA.”

The HDDA have also launched a brand new webs site to go with the launch, found here: http://thehdda.co.uk
