UWE Rosler will sit down with Shaleum Logan and his agent this week in a bid to sort out the Brentford defender's future.

Logan signed on a one-year deal from Manchester City last summer but did not play enough games to activate an automatic contract extension.

Bees boss Rosler told the Chronicle earlier this month that he hoped to get it sorted within the next fortnight, but has himself just returned from a five-day break in Italy.

Rosler said: “With Shaleum Logan, both parties want to explore different roads and see where they go, and we are quite relaxed about it.

“There is no progress so far as we have not spoke to Shaleum. I have been away but am back to work now, and I will be speaking to our sporting directors.

“They have been working away in the background while I have been away as we are preparing for next season.”
