SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE PREMIER
London Tigers 1
Hillingdon Borough 3
HILLINGDON Borough bounced back from their 4-2 midweek defeat to Berkhamsted with a comfortable 3-1 win away at London Tigers.
It took all of eight minutes for Borough to open the scoring when Tigers defender Bamba Kavanly felled Robert Gradwell in the area and Jimmy Froud tucked away the resulting penalty.
Kavanly made up for his mistake by providing Jabir Laraba with a lay-off to level the scores.
Rob Byron went close before half time, forcing home goalkeeper Jamie Adim into a fingertip save.
Borough took the lead through Sam Hurrell seven minutes into the second period when a corner was cleared to him 40 yards out.
Spotting Adim off his line, he sent in an audacious lob which beat the retreating goalkeeper and found the back of the net.
Robert Laney completed the scoring on 70 minutes from the spot after he was tripped by defender Jonathan Devite in the area.
The win is Hillingdon's third of the season and moves them onto eight points from eight matches.
