AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley plans to loan out Louis Harris to get the midfielder regular football.

The former Wolves youngster has made just seven starts since his switch to Kingsmeadow in the summer and has barely featured since Ardley took charge last month.

The arrival of Brentford's Jake Reeves has pushed Harris even further down the pecking order at the club.

And Ardley is ready to let the 19-year-old leave KT1 to get games under his belt.

He said: “Louis is a young lad who came to us fresh out of the Wolves academy.

“We are in a sticky situation and I have to look at who can help us at this time.

“Louis is in and around the squad but it might be best if he has a month out to maintain his fitness levels.

“I don't want players sitting around not doing anything. It's not good for them or for me.”
