FELTHAM Warriors' junior basketball teams began their new season with three wins out of four on Sunday.

Pride of place went to the U18s, who hammered Mole Valley Phoenix 123-69 in a thoroughly professional performance. Ben Ohene top-scored with 32 points, while Ray notched 28 and Billau 24.

The U16s have the title in their sights after some great team spirit guided them to a 78-55 win over Solent Kestrel. Joel Joseph led the way with 28 points, while James Richardson was not far behind on 20.

The U15s, meanwhile, managed

to beat Barking & Dagenham Wolves 64-14, despite being without their regular point guard. Zabi top-scored for them.

But a young U14s side, in their first year of competition, went down 121-28 to a strong Ipswich Tomcats side.

Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the U18s travel to Worthing Thunder and the U16s take on Spelthorne Atoms in a local derby at Richmond College, while there will be two games at Feltham Community College on Sunday.
