NEAL Ardley admits defender Warren Cummings could leave AFC Wimbledon this summer.

The former Bournemouth full-back has endured a frustrating time since making the switch to Kingsmeadow last year, starting just seven league games.

Cummings has featured just five times since Ardley took charge in October, with the last of those coming back in January.

The 32-year-old still has 12 months remaining on his contract with the Dons, but Ardley says the Scot's future's in the balance.

He said: “I had a good chat with Warren. I like the guy, but I have to make decisions on a footballing basis.

“We had a frank discussion to see where the club and Warren see things going next year.

“He may still be here or he could move on.”
