Harrow Hockey Club celebrated their centenary in style on Saturday with many past, as well as present, members among the 150 who attended their glittering centenary dinner and dance at the Hilton Hotel, Watford.
With the ladies team, under new coach Neil Archer, having performed outstandingly well to secure third spot in the Southern Womens League, as well as retaining their place in the National Indoor League, there was plenty to celebrate.
Wendy Strong took the ladies' player of the year trophy, while the men's team award went to first team captain James Timperley.
There were familiar winners to the top goalscorer awards, with ladies first team captain Kerri Lendon taking the ladies trophy, and her brother Nick Lendon taking the men's award.
