FARID El Alagui is desperate to show what he can do on his TV debut tomorrow night and prove he's got the X Factor.

The Brentford striker will make his first appearance in the live  Sky televised London derby with Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road.

In fact, El Alagui's father has even bought a satellite dish especially to watch his son in action against the O's.

And the Moroccan, who's scored three goals in four starts since his summer switch from Falkirk, insists he's desperate to be a hit.

“I've never played on TV over here,” said the 27-year-old.

“I'm excited because it gives me the opportunity to show people what I can do. It gives me extra motivation to do well.

“My dad has bought a big satellite dish to watch the game. My mum and brother were over for the Crewe game but he hasn't been able to get to a game yet.

“He's listened on the radio but will be able to see this game on TV. I hope I can make him and all the fans watching happy.”

El Alagui and Clayton Donaldson have already scored six goals between them this season, and will be keen to add to that tally in east London.

“My partnership with Clayton is developing well,” said the Bordeaux-born hitman.

“He's a good guy to play with because he's got good movement and works hard for the team.

“I think we complement eachother. I can hopefully win the ball and occupy the two centre-backs and allow Clayton to go in behind.”
