GARY Alexander admitted he couldn't remember much about his winning goal after Brentford beat Peterborough at Griffin Park .

The Bees striker powered the ball past Posh keeper Joe Lewis early in the second-half after Craig Woodman had cancelled out Grant McCann's opener to move Andy Scott's side out of the bottom four.

But the former Millwall front man admitted: "I don't remember much about it to be honest. The ball just dropped and I flung myself at it.

"I was waiting for a boot to the face but thankfully it went in. I'll have to look at it on TV!

"It was a fantastic result for the lads and hopefully we can go on a bit of a run now."
