JONATHAN Douglas insists Brentford have nothing to fear ahead of six games that could shape their season.

The Bees face crunch clashes with fellow promotion contenders Preston, Swindon, Sheffield United, MK Dons, Notts County and Stevenage before the busy festive period.

Uwe Rosler's men are just a point off the play-off places after back-to-back wins and have lost just one of their last 13 games in all competitions.

And stand-in skipper Douglas insists his side go into the hectic schedule full of confidence.

He said: “We're heading into a run of games where we're playing against all the sides that are around us.

“We need to pick up as many points as possible and hopefully push up the table.

“It's an important period, but we certainly go into it full of confidence as the squad's playing well.

“We're in the mix, although there are certain games where we should've picked up more points.

“We're dominating teams and need to make sure we get the results we deserve.”
