BRENTFORD have been handed a major boost after Jonathan Douglas returned to full training this week.
The former Leeds and Swindon Town midfielder hasn't featured since the back end of last season due to a knee injury.
Douglas went under the knife in June in a bid to fix the problem, but missed the entire pre-season.
However, the 31-year-old resumed full sessions at the club's Jersey Road headquarters on Monday.
“Dougie's back in full training and will do everything with us this week,” said Bees boss Uwe Rosler .
“He will have another week before playing in the development squad to bring him up to speed.
“It's looking promising. We've put a lot of effort in. We need to have him back in our camp.”
