BRENTFORD will make enquiries about keeping loan signing Toumani Diagouraga permanently this summer.

The Peterborough midfielder has been a revelation since joining the Bees until the end of the season in January.

However, since then, Posh have appointed Gary Johnson as successor in the London Road hotseat to Jim Gannon.

And Brentford boss Andy Scott admitted that may scupper a potential move for the 22-year-old Frenchman.

He said: “I haven’t spoken to Toumani about coming here permanently. I don’t know the financial situation at Peterborough or what Gary Johnson wants to do with it.

“I do know he wants a side to go straight back up. Whether or not that includes Toumani or not is up to him, and I will speak to him over the summer.”
