BRENTFORD boss Andy Scott has denied he's interested in signing Craig Disley in the summer.

The Bristol Rovers midfielder was rumoured to be a transfer target for the promotion-chasing Bees.

But Scott has rubbished talk of a move for the 27-year-old former Mansfield man.

He said: "Whilst I don't doubt he's a good player, I don't want him at this club. I haven't spoken to his agent, to the player or to Bristol Rovers, and I'm nor prepared to.

"We are concentrating on this season. The players I brought in and the players in midfield have done a fantastic job.

"David Hunt has come in and done an absolutely brilliant job filling in for Kevin (O'Connor) and Beanie (Marcus Bean).

"They are my three midfield players who have done ever so well. Craig Disley doesn't even come into the equation and he is not even in their category."
