UWE Rosler is considering making a dip into the loan market before the window slams shut on Thursday.

The Brentford boss saw skipper Kevin O'Connor added to the injury list this week after he was stretchered off with a foot injury during Saturday's FA Cup win against Basingstoke.

Central defenders Karleigh Osborne and Dale Bennett are also sidelined, and with loanees Miguel Llera and Blair Adams due to return to their parent clubs at the beginning of December, Rosler admits he may strengthen his squad.

He said: “We have to monitor the situation with our injuries to Kevin, Karleigh and Dale.

“Up front we are also still one player short, so we'll have a look at things. But our budget is tight, there's not much room to manoeuvre.

“We've had bad luck with injuries and have had to bring in several players as cover which we hadn't intended to.”

One player leaving Griffin Park is youngster Jake Reeves, who will to join Blue Square Premier side Hayes & Yeading on a month's loan once he recovers from illness, while winger Sam Wood has also been told he can make the temporary switch away in a bid to find first-football.
