UWE Rosler hopes Clayton Donaldson will get the plaudits he deserves after scoring his third goal in two games in tonight's victory over Preston.
The Brentford striker's brace, coupled with Shaleum Logan's early header, earned the visitors a deserved 3-1 victory at Deepdale – their first win on the road since November.
And Rosler reckons Donaldson was a force to be reckoned with all night.
He said: “I never doubted him. I wasn't getting carried away when he wasn't scoring or when he does.
“He's had a lot of awesome performances. He was unstoppable and their defence couldn't deal with him.
“He's received some criticism before but has proved his worth for us.”
Brentford dominated throughout and Rosler was delighted with his side's efforts, adding: "It was a nearly perfect first-half display, apart from conceding the penalty.
"The whole team played well. It was a very satisfying performance."
