BRENTFORD boss Uwe Rosler is considering offering Marcus Bean a new deal at the end of the season.

The midfielder is out of contract in the summer and told the Chronicle earlier this year that he expects to leave Griffin Park after failing to be offered fresh terms.

A whole host of clubs north and south of the border are reported to be chasing the former QPR youngster's signature, but Bees boss Rosler says he could still offer the 27-year-old a new contract in TW8.

He said: “Marcus is a player I can trust – I know what I'm going to get from him.

“He's a very important player for us and a valuable member of the squad.

“He knows he has to keep playing for himself and for us. We might offer him a contract or another club might offer him a contract.

“We want to see how the season ends, but he's put himself in a good situation.”
