IT'S not often you come back from a funeral with a smile on your face, but Mark Harper could be forgiven for doing so.
The Hampton & Richmond Borough boss bumped into AFC Wimbledon first team coach Simon Buss at one last week and ended up securing Reece Jones on a month's loan.
The Wales U21 midfielder, who was formerly with Fulham's academy, has only made three appearances for AFC's first team, but is highly rated by the Dons.
Harper said: “I was very pleased to land Reece. He is a great little player who can play anywhere across the middle.
“He is an absolute fitness fanatic who is box to box and keeps it simple. He is here for a month, but I'm hoping to keep him for the rest of the season.”
