BRENTFORD have signed John Akinde on a month's loan with view to an extended deal.
We told you last week that Bees boss Andy Scott was running the rule over a Championship striker in a bid to boost his misfiring frontline.
And Scott has landed his target after snapping up the Bristol City frontman, who scored twice at Griffin Park during a loan spell with Wycombe last season.
The 20-year-old also featured in City's 1-0 Carling Cup win over the Bees back in August.
