BRENTFORD have agreed a loan deal for experienced Sheffield Wednesday defender Martin Taylor.

BRENTFORD have agreed a loan deal for experienced Sheffield Wednesday defender Martin Taylor.

The 33-year-old centre-back has clocked up more than 350 appearances during spells at Blackburn, Darlington, Stockport, Birmingham, Norwich and Watford.

Taylor has yet to feature for Wednesday this season and has been given the green light to join the Bees on loan.

The Chronicle understand he is due to train with his new team-mates this morning ahead of Saturday's trip to Tranmere Rovers.
