Feltham Warriors' mission statement has always been about helping keep kids from the area off the streets and out of trouble by providing them with competitive sport. And there is no better example of the excellent work the club does than Alex Cadore, one of the U15 players.

The Bedfont youngster suffers from Asperger syndrome, and stepdad Richard Hammond insists the club is a lifeline for his stepson's development.

He said: "Playing for Warriors puts Alex in social situations and allows him to learn how to interact with people his age and older than him. It's done him the world of good."
