Coach Rudy Harriot was full of praise for his players as Feltham Warriors U16s ended their season with two impressive wins.

Big men Joe Pompilis and Ben Ohene, along with Joel Joseph and George Fletcher, carried the majority of the scoring load as Warriors first hammered Camden Jazz 92-48.

But it was Lampton student Shakir Rahim who caught the eye, having the game of his life. The speedy point guard tormented Camden, stealing the ball and racing the length of the floor to convert lay-up shots with ease, while his Lampton schoolmate Rebaz Baban was solid throughout, contributing at both ends of the floor.

Warriors then wrapped things up by edging out Westminster Warriors 69-61, with Ohene leading the charge as always.

While Ohene and Pompilis were scoring inside, Joseph and Fletcher attacked from beyond the three-point line, nailing long distance shots with precision, while commanding the boards was the ever-improving Dalvin Nyack.

Coach Harriot, who employed some masterful tactics to keep his side in front, said: "Pompilis and Fletcher were huge again for us, and Ohene and Joseph continue to take it up a level every week.

"However, I couldn't be more pleased with the improvements of Rahim and Nyack."

Meanwhile, the U14s are eyeing the play-offs in their league after thrashing Woking Blackhawks 40-18.

Setting the tone early on was Lampton students Zabi Osmani and Aqib Sheik, while Feltham Community College new recruit Leroy Jama impressed with some well-taken scores and aggressive defensive play.

Michael Fayombo and London Development squad star Leon Shafique dominated both the offensive and defensive boards, with Shafique scoring at will.

But Feltham's star player this season, James Woodburn-Hall, was again outstanding and is all set to step up to National League level next season. Prabesh Katawal, another National League prospect, capped off a very impressive win for Andy Justice's men.
