Having got their title-hunt back on track with an 89-70 win over Woking Blackhawks, Feltham Warriors U18s face a season-defining game on Saturday.

Warriors, who had lost their two previous games before beating Woking, host leaders Kingston at Feltham Community School.

And coach Alan Keane is in no doubt as to the game's importance.

He said: "Saturday's game with Kingston should be a real threat, so Woking was a must-win for us.

"After two recent unexpected loses we are right back on track and playing the way we should be playing - applying constant pressure on defence and sharing the ball on offence."

KC Onwuka and Cioke Fletcher joint top-scored against Woking with 17, while future prospect Dominic Harriot was just behind on 16, along with Junior Jack.

AJ Cheema chipped in with 14 in another solid display, while Nathanael Padrment and George Mandoro came off the bench to do well.

It was all Warriors from the moment Harriot scored the opening two baskets inside the first 30 seconds.

Warriors led by seven points at the end of both the first and second quarters, but extended it to 18 going into the final quarter, where they and Woking traded baskets almost blow-for-blow.

Meanwhile, Joel Joseph put in an outstanding display as the U16s saw off Sevenoaks Suns 80-64.

Some outstanding three-point shooting led to an amazing personal tally of 36 for the young starlet, who is playing with a maturity beyond his years.

Keane added: "As most teams have found out this year. Joel is more than capable of shooting from long distance.

"Once he develops his lead-ership skills and his ability to control the tempo of the game. he will become a handful for every opposing player who has the task of slowing him down."

Joseph was helped by some fine passing from Ben Ohene, who was excellent at both ends of the court and continues to develop an all-round game.

George Fletcher also continues to impress with some timely baskets and excellent leadership, and along with defensive-stopper Joe Pompilis, is being earmarked for a promotion to the U18s.

Rudy Harriot's men will take on Westminster Warriors this Saturday at Feltham Community School.
